A big grey or black wolf is certainly a prized and rare trophy. Our BC guided wolf hunt is typically baited on the frozen lakes, with long-range shots. Calling style hunts are also used. A grey wolf is also a popular add-on species to our alpine hunts in fall.

A winter predator hunt is an easy way to make your contribution to conservation. Wolves often hunt deer or sheep by chasing them onto frozen lakes where the wolves have the advantage. This means ungulates are particularly vulnerable in winter to predation. A winter predator hunt makes the biggest impact on protecting the ungulate population.
