Traditional lodge-based spring bear hunts are spot-and-stalk by vehicle and foot. It is the perfect opportunity to spot these apex predators as they congregate in the valleys, feasting on the first green grass. The black bears in British Columbia come in many colours. In our territory you will not only find black coated bears, they can also be cinnamon, red or blond bears. Black bears are not always a solid colour and can be a mixture of colours from black to blond. Another highlight of a spring black bear hunt is the long, thick winter hair the bears have during the spring.
The guided hunt can be taken in the spring of 2023 or 2024. Hunting method is rifle or bow. Handguns are not permitted. Hunting will be done by vehicle and foot. The hunt will take place from our ranch lodge. The hunt can be upgraded to include more hunters, non-hunters and the following add-on species from the outfitter’s price list: Black Bear and Wolf. So, this hunt gives you the rare opportunity to take home two black bear trophies, making this a 200% opportunity hunt.

Our guides possess extensive knowledge of animal behaviour, local species populations and our extensive trails, making them uniquely qualified to lead such high level hunts.
