Conservation and Hunting
Since 1918
Since 1918, our family hunting business, BCTMO Conservation Club, has put conservation at the forefront of every hunt...
…supported by extensive experience in planning and leading high quality custom guided hunts in British Columbia, Canada. Trip after trip has shown that our hunters with BCTMO Conservation Club have highly successful, rewarding experiences when we customize hunts to match their past experiences, species priorities, personal preferences, limitations, and their individual stage within the 6 stages of hunter, as well as prioritizing conservation.
At our family hunting business, we know our hunters are sometimes looking to add on other species in BC before or after their hunt with us. Or they are looking for something totally different. That is why we can connect them with outfitters from all over the world to book their dream hunt.

Mountain Goat Hunts
Mature billies make the SCI record book, with bases ranging from 5 1/2-6 1/2” and lengths of 8 1/2-10 3/8”. Mounted full size for their hair length.

Canadian Moose Hunts
Our Canadian Moose hunts are the epitome of authentic, wilderness hunts. During your rut hunt, we call the big bulls out into the meadows or spot and stalk them in the high alpine.

Cougar Hunts
Run the trails and experience the thrill of the chase. As one of the most elusive predators in North America, cougars provide an exciting challenge and fulfilling wilderness experience.

Black Bear Hunts
Spot these apex predators as they congregate in the valleys, feasting on the first green grass. In the fall, we also have great success spotting bears as they feast on berry patches before hibernation.

Canada Lynx Hunts
Among the rarest cats in North America, lynx only populate certain territories. These cats can be difficult to chase with dogs, adding an additional challenge to your hunt.

Trapline Hunts
A trapline hunt is a unique opportunity to experience the lifestyle Canada was founded on. BC is the only place in North America where you can hunt lynx. Learn how to set traps and snares then skin and flesh trapped game.

Family Hunts
You can turn your guided hunt in BC into a family vacation by inviting your kids, grandkids or spouse. We offer a safe and fun learning environment where your family can participate, as much or as little as they want, in your hunting experience and gain a deeper appreciation of nature and resource management.

Mule Deer Hunts
Ride through high alpine basins in the early season, glass for a bachelor group of bucks bedding down at the tree-line. During the rut, scope out the big mature bucks running with the does.

Bobcat Hunts
These bobcats are large and make for an impressive mount. We hunt these predators with bait and predator calling. Our elite hounds chase the bobcats.

Bird Hunts
5 species of Upland Birds (Blue Grouse, Spruce Grouse, Ruffed Grouse, Arctic Ptarmigan, Rock Ptarmigan) and 8 species of Waterfowl (Canada Geese, Snow Geese, Ross’s Geese, Mallards, Pintails, Harlequin, Canvasback, Goldeneye Ducks).

Corporate Hunts

Grey Wolf Hunts
A big grey or black wolf is a prized and rare trophy. These hunts are typically baited on the frozen lakes, with long-range shots. Calling style hunts are also used which add excitement to a cold winter day.

Fishing
Enjoy fishing or ice fishing as an add-on to your hunt. Fish for Kokanee, Dolly Varden, Rainbow Trout, and Brook Trout in nearby lakes and rivers.
